Awesome survivor 1966 ford galaxie 500 2dr fastback 78,000 original miles no a/c, manual steering, manual drum brakes 352 interceptor v8 automatic new carb, exhaust, water pump, battery, coil, points, plugs this car is completely original and numbers matching. It runs, drives, shifts and stops as it should. Even the fuel gauge works. The engine is smoke free and does not burn oil. I haven't even noticed a cut wire anywhere in the car. Excellent restoration candidate or drive it as is. The interior is in excellent condition. The exterior is about as rust free as i have seen one of these cars. There are a few issues around the trunk drip rail, edge of trunk lid and hood edge, but overall solid. There is one small dent on the passenger fender from a tree branch. Floors, trunk pan, rockers and frame rails are in great condition. Paint is original and a little faded but might come back with a good buffing. I have the original carb and air cleaner in the trunk along with a set of rear shocks. All trim is on the car and in good shape. Come by and check her out ... Could be an awesome ride with not much work. The car can be seen at 110 sea island parkway in beaufort, s. Tuesday - saturday 11am-6pm. Car sold with georgia bill of sale and current registration.
